Remote Central Locking and Transponder Programming and Repair
Almost all cars use a central locking system operated by remote control, with the car remote fobs usually being very reliable, lasting years without issue. However remote fobs can stop working, which most commonly requires a replacement battery. On occasions, the entire fob requires replacing. These batteries or remote keys are easily replaced with new ones which can be pre-programmed by us with our remote programming service.
A broken or lost transponder car key will result in the vehicle not starting upon turning the key in the ignition. When a transponder key stops working it will require a new one. Some motorists also order and keep additional spare transponder keys to use should their existing key fail. Both replacement and programming transponders are simple tasks for us at CapsLocks, and substantially cheaper than main dealers.
